  The boards has  been living in a 40% R.h  invironment. This RH is middle of 
the road & common  here.

Too bad you couldn't check the moisture content of  the board relative to 
when it booms. It could be a case for CC board  reasoning.

  Perhaps. But I'm not really compression  crowning.
  Most cases of day after boom happen when i use  quicker curing glues such 
as Bolduc & tight bond.

 & when the clamp came off in the morning & it  already had a very healthy & 
vibrant boom/rap even though the tight bond  surely isn't thoroughly cured. 
This is not usually the case.
