Pretty good advice Ron, but you know you are a master with the confident,
knowing smile when you can still bamboozle them after you've just formed the
new coil before placing the string through that shiny new agraffe!

Funny how I still remember my first agraffe repair!

BTW, with the several broken agraffe replacements that I have done (all on
Steinways), the old agraffe stem came out very easy by just tapping on a
small pointy screwdriver placed at an angle on one edge of the agraffe stem.
Tap, tap, tap and then move to the other side and gentle tap, tap, tap
again. With each tap you'll see the stem turning a tad - all of mine have
come out real easy this way.
