This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment I only tried half heartedly, with vice grips and a screwdriver so far. It didn't budge. As I said it is used infrequently, so I haven't bothered, as no one complained. It is a beat up unit, in a Legion. I tune it every year for free, just before Remembrance/Veterans day. They never wanted to have anything done to it. I will see if I can get something along the lines of a battery cable remover, from the post thing. Something that has a thread and lifts. I thought that there might be a special tool. But then again, most of us have all the tools, even the useless ones. LOL Once again, thanks to all. I have to tell you something stupid I did. I wasn't looking when I sent these messages, and I sent them to ptg@ptg.org, and I wasn't getting any answers, as the messages weren't showing up. I thought I had been blacklisted. LOL John M. Hi List, As a further to the image I sent, and the query. The piano is a Braumuller, made in New York. The capstans, are like nails, unable to be adjusted, I can't find any way to adjust them. Any ideas?? John M. Ross Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada jrpiano@win.eastlink.ca ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
