When working with the filed center pin in a pin vise I turn the=20
pin/reamer into the bushing clockwise and remove it counter clockwise.
After checking the fit if I need more I turn the pin/reamer in=20
clockwise and pull straight out.   If more is needed I turn clockwise,=20=

and
remove clockwise.

If the fit it still tight I go to the next larger size.    Don't forget=20=

to hold the flange securely and flop the hammer and shank wildly
up and down about 10 times.
