This is one of the few times that I urge you: "don't try to be a hero." 
99.99% of the time I say "A440 or why bother at all", but for a 
neglected square, measure how sharp the bass is and don't try going any 
sharper.
Take your time, this is going to be like a very complicated puzzle the 
first time out for you. Don't be afraid to stop and tell them you'll be 
back after you research some information or procedures (bring your 
digital camera, and post to the list or phone questions to the NWRVP 
Joe Garrett, guru of the square).
