---------------------- multipart/mixed attachment Wooden I-beams span the case for sturdy support of 'go-bars' or pressure applicators. The board is supported from underneath. In this photo you'll see the beams clamped to the case while securing loosened glue joints. The 'cross' beam at the bass end is there because the bass leg prevented use of a single clamp to hold down that end of the main beam. These beams were made from scrap items on hand... 3/4" plywood and 2x6's. (I ripped the 2x6's in half). 2x4's would work as well. The plywood was glued in the dado and secured with deck screws.
