The Michael from Sussex said: "Right=20
now we are still in rehearsal and it is very soft sounding. I have =
regulated=20
the touch and the set-off to bring the hammers within about 5mm from the =

strings - which is pushing my luck somewhat as a lot of the butt springs =
are=20
broken!"
Michael,
5mm let off is waaaayyyy to much! My suggestion is FIX the piano first. =
Since you have told us what a "whiz" you are at such things, I suspect a =
couple of hours and you'll have it "like new"!<G> THEN, regulate it. =
After that, decide if you need to "juice". If you do, then the solution =
is in the solution you choose. Each, will have different end results. =
I'm definately going to try the "ping pong ball" thingee. However, I =
rather suspect it's pretty much the same elixor as keytops and acetone.
