I didn't know Bell made double-framed uprights. Bell were also made in =
U.K. The English piano which also uses double iron frames is Monington & =
Weston - they are very stable (and h e a v y )

  I ran accross an interesting piano, the other day. It had a cast =
backframe.
  It was a Bell piano, manufactured in Canada. Bell?made some nice =
sounding pianos, in the earlier part of the century.
  I forgot to take note of the serial #, so just assume it was 1910 +/-
