Greetings,Arlie! Regarding Fallboard set screws:Apsco used to sell them
separately,they were brass,special head,pointed end,size 6/32",standart
thread.they were made by Ramsey Corporation for all Piano Manufacturers. I
happened to have the whole collection, plus all taps to restore or enlarge
hinge threads. A small clear plastic box with all sizes
screws,,corresponding taps is very useful to me when working in schools.
If you can buy appropriate screws in hardware store-make sure it's not too
long and not leave a gauge in the cheeck block..If you will have a problem
finding the right screw-call me,I will send you a replacement. Good luck!
Isaac

Subject: Fallboard screw

A customer has a Fischer grand which had a little screw at each end of
the fallboard. These screws must be removed in order to remove the
fall board. One of the screws is missing, and I don't see any like it
in the Schaff catalog. Any suggestions?

Thanks.
