What is that s-shaped metal cutoff bar for? I have seen it in pictures =
of a Grotrian-Steinweg too, and it has some screw in it that seem to =
press on the ribs. If anyone wants pictures, let me know.
It looks too complicated and too small to be a normal cutoff bar. Was it =
perhaps meant to adjust the soundboard crown somehow?
