A very good question Terry... and the answer may take you right into the arena Steinway is in right now. By that I mean that realitys may force you to either choose anonymnity putting out 2-3 instruments a year for a very select fan group... like Ye Olde Soundboard man himself does, or cutting just enough courners to make a decent enough instrument that you can market. I think the chances of selling a no holds bared highest quality possible instrument are very limited.... tho perhaps doable. Small market for such things tho. How many Lamborginis are sold each year on a world wide basis ?... and for how much ?
