Well, I WAS a lot younger then! :-D Seriously, though, I seem to remember something about there being a tool specifically designed for this. I used my fingers then, also, but I also had a little problem with the pitch staying where I wanted it. I like the hemostat idea, also. It seems like that would work fine.
