Matthew, If you are already skilled & speedy at repinning action parts, go for it. But it sounds like you aren't so ... bring the action to your shop. It will probably take you more than 4 hours (are these hammer centers? jack centers? damper lever centers??). Why are you repinning? Parts frozen up? Are treatment with Protec CPL, or sizing the bushings with an alcohol/water solution, viable alternative solutions? Is this a Steinway?? If so, it's likely you're dealing with verdigris, and repinning is seldom the correct remedy (parts replacement is best). Give us more details and we'll be able to give more precise advice. Do you have appropriate tools? The Mannino broaches, a quality center pin punch, etc?
