This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Hello John R and List No, I didn't misunderstand the sandpaper application - I merely amplified its use to hold any width of felt/cloth by giving the material an overall support against rucking or any kind of movement under the knife. And it works! Now that has to be a + :-) Regards Michael G.(UK) -----Original Message----- From: John Ross [mailto:jrpiano@win.eastlink.ca] Sent: 19 September 2005 22:06 To: Pianotech Subject: Re: Michael G's New precision felt and cloth cutting jig If I am reading you correctly, you have misunderstood where the sandpaper goes. The blade does not touch it. The sandpaper is attached to the bottom of the straight edge you are using, so you can still use your cutting board, to save the blade. John M.
