Hi

I'm wondering if it would be helpful and worthwhile to donate tangible items such as extra tools, parts, etc., that are otherwise cluttering up shops and trucks all across the continent? I'm guessing that many, like me, have donated cash 'til it hurts through Salvation Army, Red Cross, churches, etc.

Also, the real need for member in that area is customers, I'm sure. If you have your roof ripped off, I'm guessing that replacing the ol' pianer isn't a very high priority. No pianos, no jobs. Is there a way we could scout out and get donated or low cost pianos shipped to the area, maybe after a little more recovery time?

Nice PR, maybe: "Piano Technicians Guild Brings Music Back To The Coast" or some such.

Just ramblin' thinkin' here...

Subject: Disaster relief fund

Hello to all,

This post is to inform everyone that PTG
and PTG. Foundation has created a Disaster
Relief Fund.

This fund will be for members who live in a
disaster zone.

When you donate to this fund every cent
of every dollar you donate will go to our members.
Not 30 or 40 cents --- but EVERY cent.

Donations are being accepted as you read
this post. You can call the Home Office and
donate with a credit card or any other manner
you choose, all donations are tax deductible.

I have appointed a committee of Foundation
board members to explore the feasibility of
creating a permanent "Member Disaster Fund".

I will keep everyone informed of it's progress.
Your thoughts and suggestions are welcome.

 The Home Office phone # is 913 - 432 - 9975

Regard's to All.
PTGF. President
