Lesson learned but lack of ethics

Now, I'll admit I'm a poor businessman, but it seems to me that this is 
ethically questionable.

If I should find that the piano needs a second application to get the job 
done then I do it on my own time.   I quoted them a price (of which the ethics 
has already been discussed) and that's all they're going to pay.   If I have 
done my job so poorly that I don't get the promised result then I'll do it again. 
  Why make the customer pay for your inefficiency?
