I'll second that!

I just acquired what has turned out to be one of the very first Baldwin
Acrosonics; serial dates it to first year production; 1936! It's a tall
spinet measuring 40.5", and appears to be very well built and solid. Also
has ivory keys! I thought at first glance it was cellulloid but the grain is
unmistakable. The bottom is narrow (has 2 legs in back also) as it uses the
"lyre" pedal assembly. And also like a grand has a very impressive
one-piece fallboard. The veneer is some kind of exotic high quality burled
walnut. I've had it apart, cleaned, detailed and next will be the Pitch
raise and tune. I wonder what I can sell it for...It the first of it's kind
and in really amazing shape for its age. They sure don't make 'em like they
used to!
