David,

Ditto on the appointment times. I use it for contacts, too. With Active=20
Sync, you can choose which files you want to synchronize. I also have my m=
ap=20
program in there, and the new version of Mapopolis is pretty cool. It has=20=
a=20
step-by-step voice directions option.
=20
I use an IPAQ 2415. The display vivid and easy to read. I use Tunelab on=20
mine, and it works fine. It is housed in a waterproof case I bought to ens=
ure=20
that it doesn't suffer the same fate as my last one--an unscheduled bath in=
=20
a client's toilet.

Would any of you using Pocket PCs and Palms give me some feedback? The=20

What are the main things you want to do with a PDA? I use a Palm Tungsten=20
T3, syncing with MS Outlook for appointment times, directions, etc. Pretty=20
versatile, lots of software available for many different things. You can do=
=20
Excel, Word, PDF, and other common files with the Palm OS. For instance, I=20=
use my=20
Palm to log mileage directly into Excel, then it syncs with the home =20
computer.=20
Since I=E2=80=99m used to the Palm interface, I don=E2=80=99t know if I wou=
ld get a=20
PocketPC. Having RCT or Verituner on a PDA is tempting, but since I purchas=
ed the VT=20
box in 2004, I=E2=80=99m not spending another c. $1200 just to have it in a=
 smaller =20
package.=20
