Dearn,
I guess my wife could be my PR manager. Would a magnetic sign work as =
well as lettering?

So what does a legally blind guy do who doesn't drive about signs? =
Should I hand out pens with business cards?

    I heartily agree . . . I've had the same thing happen many times . . =
. there is a down side though . . you have to drive sensibly all the =
time !!

I also have my website address on the back, and have had customers =
email me . . . "I was following you down main street . . ."

works better than newspaper ads !! . . . also good for visibility, =
even if people aren't looking for iommediate service . . .

Been following the thread and was reminded today of a very =
important source of business: The vinyl lettering on my truck!

      =20

I parked across the street from a small town restaurant (lunch!) =
and found a note on my windshield from a new customer. Then, while =
depositing some checks at the bank, a lady in the drive-up lane next to =
mine was miming and mouthing "Do you tune pianos?" and "Do you have a =
card?" after which she snuck out of her car and came over to get my =
card.

      =20

I paid about $250 for lettering and pictures (both sides and =
back). This one-time expense has repaid itself many, many times.
