For what it's worth:
 
You can fit a new keyset and Renner style action stack in an action cavity of
approximately 150 mm (5.9"). It's tight, but it will fit.

   Yes I do.  The English action has a clearance of
6 and 3/4 in.  While the Viennese action has only
5 and 1/8 in.
