Restringing Pricing

According to the "G" Piano Works Repair Labor Guide, by Joe Garrett [a booklet you should have as a new tech], you'll spend about 22.5 hours doing the restringing on the grand if it's less than seven feet.  So you could begin your estimate with 22.5 times your hourly labor rate=total estimated labor cost of the job plus the amount you charge for the new strings.  Leave yourself some wiggle room for the "GOTCHA'S" that are in almost every job.
