Could you buttress the old pins back into place by whatever method, CA or 
epoxy, to make sure the keys look right; then take a pattern off the tops of the 
pins, THEN yank the pins and rout out for an inlay? Maybe even two inlays, one 
for the sharps and one for the naturals.
