A435 or 440?

A piano below pitch, as was originally stated, has not had a chance to float from A440. Once at that standard...i.e. in tune with the real world...it can go ahead and float...the sound of that piano with 20 cents more tension should be better.

Curious how most techs are so adamant that it be right at 440, yet when the question of floating pitch comes up, many are content to let it be sharp in the summer (as much as 25 cents) and flat in the winter (if 20 cents flat, it’d be at 435) so they don’t have to do so much pitch raising and lowering all the time.
