credit cardsThe customer does not need to sign up for PayPal; they must receive email and have web access.

In one case, the government office I tuned for didn't allow them to purchase over the web... so they just gave me their complete credit card info, phone number, security code, and billing address over the phone. I emailed myself and generated the payment.

It would have been a lot more secure if they had done it; I would not have had all of their info. But you have to work the system...

The PTG has some deal with a bank to process credit card transactions. Has anyone tried it?

You might try using Paypal. The customer can use their credit card, and you get the money thru paypal. They do take a cut of course. The customer would have to agree to sign up for paypal, though, and that might be a complication. But they can then pay you thru paypal using their credit card.
