credit cardsThe customer does not need to sign up for PayPal; they must receive email and have web access. In one case, the government office I tuned for didn't allow them to purchase over the web... so they just gave me their complete credit card info, phone number, security code, and billing address over the phone. I emailed myself and generated the payment. It would have been a lot more secure if they had done it; I would not have had all of their info. But you have to work the system... The PTG has some deal with a bank to process credit card transactions. Has anyone tried it? --Cy-- ----- Original Message ----- From: Dave Smith To: Pianotech List Sent: Thursday, July 27, 2006 1:40 PM Subject: Re: credit cards You might try using Paypal. The customer can use their credit card, and you get the money thru paypal. They do take a cut of course. The customer would have to agree to sign up for paypal, though, and that might be a complication. But they can then pay you thru paypal using their credit card.
