Unfortunately, I didnt see Deans note in time to try it, I will next 
time. What I did was, per Joe, I think, put a drop of hot water on 
the birdseye, let dry, then followed with a drop of thin CA. Worked 
like a charm, I took out 22 1/2 pins, was able to repin with 21 1/2 
with almost no reaming, whoever jammed those things in in the first 
place must have worked hard cause they were all a wee bit bent in the 
middle, talk about a lot of effort for no result, it about wore out 
my hand taking the old ones out. Thanks all!
