Ed & Tom... Thanks for the advise. The handles are supposedly nylon, but the
description also says they're comparable to Hale. So that means the handle
is NOT nylon, by deductive reasoning!!

To answer your question, no.  But I did notice that the handles on these
tuning levers are plastic.  That makes it less of a bargain.  How much does
a plastic-handled lever cost from Schaff or Pianotek?  Not that much more, I
would wager.
