Larry, There were some Hale levers with nylon/plastic handles. They were sold by American Piano Supply. I have two of them around somewhere. My recommendation is to get a good quality lever if you're serious about the business. I use a Jahn now, but since I saw and touched and drooled over Steven Fujan's levers at the convention, I'll probably get one of those soon. Very nice! www.fujanproducts.com <http://www.fujanproducts.com/> John Formsma _____ From: pianotech-bounces at ptg.org [mailto:pianotech-bounces at ptg.org] On Behalf Of Larry Trischetta Sent: Monday, June 26, 2006 9:54 PM To: ed440 at mindspring.com; Pianotech List Subject: Re: NEWOCTAVE GLOBAL Tuning hammers.... Ed & Tom... Thanks for the advise. The handles are supposedly nylon, but the description also says they're comparable to Hale. So that means the handle is NOT nylon, by deductive reasoning!!
