I like the Jahn (rhymes with Yawn)  ball end extension: The heads are reversable so you can be closer or farther from the pins; the threads on the tips and heads are long and cylindrical instead of shortish and tapered so they are very secure, unlikely to cross-thread, etc., and do not become hopelessly tight on the head. Plus it has mass and stiffness. The only thing I'd change is that it isn't quite as long as I like for leverage and control, so I usually extend it a couple of inches. Don't forget that the Schaff lever is a good one. the 21c I believe.  It allows one to make small nothces and when putting unisons in it's great. A little tap or two on the handle and the sweet spot as some call it is in.

ps. Im sure there are other good levers out ther which I'd like to try. Don't forget Joe Goss's lever is a good one too.  It's well built.
