Hi CY Yes I have & it's a wonderful & pricey tool. I lost the magnet to mine & will see if I can re-order thru the web site. Previously I tried to get this done but the requirement was to send it all the way back to Germany for a new magnet & recalibration. I can tell you though from expereince it is a very accurate & useful tool. Fortunately there is more than one way to gauge or approximate soundboard thickness. The sustain noticeable in the G-2 as the strings go back on is amzingly long & improved. WIll report back after it's back together. Thanks Dale Have you tried the Hacklinger magnetic thickness gauge? Spendy, but lets you take more measurements without drilling: _http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tools/Calipers/Hacklinger_Thickness_Gauge.html_ (http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tools/Calipers/Hacklinger_Thickness_Gauge.html) -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
