Voicing of high bass on Steinway L

Hi David,

Since I'm sure most of you guys just skim a lot of these emails, I  
wanted to specify that it was not myself who brought up the string  
length. I have found the same thing as you - tuning nor the tone on  
the L is an issue unless it is the specific string(s).

I still have some more investigating to do on the issue I brought up,  
and I will happily share what I turn up once/if I find a solution.
