Did I say it cleaned up the tone?  I have been able to eliminate the damper 
noise (zzzt) after the dampers have been cleaned and the strings have been 
cleaned (I get also manage to get underneath the strings where the dampers 
are).  Sorry, I wasn't clear on that.
