Hi Andrew,
The tool isn't rusty. I thought it was me at first, but I have good arm and hand strength. Maybe it's the jig we're working on.

Marshall,
It isn't difficult with a new tool. Perhaps this one is rusty.

The only thing I'm not getting is, why is turning the coiler such an ordeal with a tuning lever? If I try to hold the handle still it's like two forces trying to go against each other. If I let go the handle and the coiler just spin around.

Hi Andrew,

I too, like the insta-coiler. All the instructions given are good and I will add a point or two. I use a rachet star head, Schaff # 23, with an adapter and a 1/2 inch mechanics rachet wrench to turn the insta-coiler. I like to adjust the handle and hold it with my left hand so the notch is holding the winding coil straight forward as I turn coiler with the rachet.
