A woman customer, with a slight speech impediment, and her daughter were baking upstairs while I was working on their piano in the basement. As I was about to leave I thought that she asked me "Would you like a quickie for the road?" As I stood quietly wondering if I heard her correctly, she then asked me "Would you like oatmeal or chocolate chip?" She had said COOKIE, not QUICKIE. =whew= I can laugh about it now. Brian P.
