Synthetic Reducer

The original stuff I was using came from Rodda Paints, but they no longer carry it. There a couple that are available from other sources. What you want is the "Base" substance for Varnish, w/o all of the additives that makes each manufacturer's Varnish unique. (DO
NOT USE VARNISH!) The specific Name is: Phenolic Resin. If a paint supplier doesn't know what that is, then they shouldn't be a paint supplier!
The current one that I will be using is from Miller Paint.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is Synthetic reducer? This is the first
time I hear of it.
Thanks,
Marcel,
It is the thinner for synthetic Varnishes.<G> Rodda Paints.
