There a couple that are available from other sources. What you want is the "Base" substance for Varnish, w/o all of the additives that makes each manufacturer's Varnish unique. (DO NOT USE VARNISH!) The specific Name is: Phenolic Resin. If a paint supplier doesn't know what that is, then they shouldn't be a paint supplier! The current one that I will be using is from Miller Paint.
