What's up with Steinway and drop screws? They can't seem to get them right. Techs in this area have seen serious problems with too small, too fat, sharp projections on top, etc. And why will they not modify the zinging M backscales when tech after tech has complained, computed and shared simple design fixes that work, been forced to use felt or couplers or whatever. And how about the dealor who tells the customer (who commented on it in the showroom but still bought the piano) "Your tech will be able to fix that?" This, to me, is the kind of arrogance and inattention to business that has driven other makers into the porcelain receptacle. Rant, pant. But I have no strong feelings either way. Mr. Mellow, that's me. Alan Barnard Salem, Missouri
