Remove the action. It's too difficult to remove the rail in the piano. The keys may have to be removed first with newspaper placed over the key pins so the stickers do not get caught in them. Same process to install the action. Fairly simple. The trick is not to damage the damper heads on the stud at the bass/tenor break. Don't place the coils against the rail, leave a small space. either a steel rule or the back edge of a razor blade. Hopefully you won't have to trim the spring length to fit the slot in the butt. -- Regards, Jon Page
