Steinway Model B Music Desk Support

I am ordering today a desk prop for a B.  That unsupported desk panel is
a real weakness of that model.  I have an extra "folding hinge" prop
that they use on the smaller pianos but it doesn't fit/work on a B
because the desk is made differently.  I'm ordering the #941 on page 123
of the Schaff catalog as I don't find much by way of alternative.

music desk and the horizontal cross strut that runs behind it.  The
hinges
screws are getting real stressed.  Has anyone installed a music desk
support
on this model who can advise me specifically which one fits well and
seems
to do the job?  Steinway does not have one for this model.
