Well, my book (I couldn't find a date on it but it is something after 1986 I know) says that the "B" was introduced in 1872 as a 6'8" piano then reintroduced as a 6'10.5" piano in 1884 with no subsequent changes. 73226 looks like it should be somewhere between 1892 - 94. I normally consider all those dates pretty squishy particularly since all years are posted with very round numbers! dp David M. At least the gage numbers are the same.
