PianoDisc's mute rail compatible with Disklavier?

Greetings Colleagues,

I have a client with a DG3 Mark II (manuf. 1994) who is interested in having 
the PianoDisc mute rail installed.   Anyone had experience with this?   Can 
the two coexist?
