Replacing Casters

Hi, Jon:
Most casters will pop out by prying them out of a socket with a screwdriver. Many Asian pianos are one piece, so you'll have to remove the leg to access the screws. No need to put the piano on its side. Prop up the piano with a few phone books on the bench, or some other arrangement. I don't have any idea about your casters, but I'm sure you could find something from a catalog if you can't find an exact match. Good luck.

Subject: Replacing Casters

Hi List,

One of my customers asked about replacing the casters on her Otto Altenberg grand. Is there an easy way that I can do this myself, other than lift and sidelying the piano....which seems impossible for a one man job.

Also, are there specific casters that would fit the piano.

Thanks,

Jon
