List,
in January I will have completed my training at the Emil Fries School of Piano Technology. The long short of it all is, I'm looking for employment... I Supposedly have an offer on the table, but have not gotten anything in writing as of yet. So I am still open to discussing opportunities that would be available anywhere in the U.S. My tuning, repair and regulating skills are good enough to satisfy most anyone. I have taken the written exam and will take the tuning and technical exams as soon as I can get examiners who are available. I have tried to get these exams going for over 2 months now. If I have to leave the area to take the exams I will. Its just a matter of getting it dun. Prier to coming to Emil Fries I worked with and trained under Nevin Essex RPT where I got a lot of good experience. My training at the school has prepared me for most jobs in the industry and made me a vary competent tuner. While in training I have started working for the school part time. I do our Saturday appointments as well as a few appointments through out the week. The fact that I am trusted by the school to handle regular customer tunings and repairs, and am paid for that, speaks for its self... So if any of you know of any other jobs that are not posted on ptg.org please let me know. I will work for anyone anywhere if the money is good enough. I don't expect $80000, but I don't expect $20000 either. Thanks for your time and please email or call me if you are looking for an extra tuner/technician or just have thoughts that you might feel like sharing
