Hi Don, I? believe Kawai will sell the carbon parts.? They will be a bit more costly than the generic parts available from supply houses, and I'm not sure if they will work with a Samick;? I know from experience that that the hammer butts are NOT interchangeable, however.? Pianotek sells generic parts for Asian pianos.? Schaff probably does too. It has butt plates which no one ever bothered to tighten--so over 50% of the flanges are shot. It would be so nice if new shiny flanges will fit. Does Kawai sell their fancy carbon impregnated parts yet? Regards, Don Rose, B.Mus., A.M.U.S., A.MUS., R.P.T.
