Check to see if the key moves freely - -ease the key bushings if not. Next, make sure there's enough lost motion in the key - adjust the capstan screw accordingly. Also, lubricate every center pin in that note with CLP. You have a few pivot points because of the inverted action. Lubricate the jack flange too. Also, check to see that the jack spring is intact -- move the jack back and forth by pressing on the jack's heel with a thin screwdriver blade while holding the hammer against the string - -in this way, you'll get a first hand feel about the spring tension.
