Doesn't anyone use LaRoy Edwards' grand action caddy?
http://www.edwardsstringcovers.com/brochureCaddy.pdf
"1. A PORTABLE, ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT table to slide the action out of the piano
without lifting.
2. WITH ACTION ON THE CADDY, all tightening and adjustment screws are easily
accessed.
3. A STRING HEIGHT TARGET IS INCLUDED. Most regulation can be accomplished
with the action on the caddy (see #4 below)
4. BEDDING SCREWS IN THE CADDY'S MIDDLE RAIL will support the action's
center rail to return the key height, dip, and touch to what it was in the
piano. "

(ps. I don't have one of these yet, but it sure seems like a good idea.)

Dave Stahl posted some pics shortly after he got his in 2005. How's that
working out for you, Dave?
