Belly Brace

You don't necessarily need to buy the metal belly brace in order to add mass
to the belly rail even on an existing soundboard.  The photos show an added
beam between the bent side and the belly rail on a Steinway O.  The piece
was epoxied and doweled in place.  Did it help?  If I listen really hard.
