For at least seven years, I've been using the custom-fit plugs with ER inserts. They have worked great, but are not fitting as well now. (Ears change shape slightly as we age.) Rather than spending $150+ for the custom-fit ones, I thought I'd try the others for $12.00. I don't know if I have smaller ear canals or not.
