Tuning pin drilling? followup

Yup, I got that part.
  Only one pass. Afterward I surmised that with the two step  drilling 
protocol that even if the  first hole had a little wobble while  being drilled the 
second pass would clean up any discrepancies.
     When I'm drilling on a stationary press I never  drill twice & my pin 
fit is very consistent.For me it's so much quicker  easier. I also  have a very 
accurate way of determining the plate hole  center which I like & so I 
probably won't switch any time soon.

You  must be immobile and don't vibrate then. <G> Did you do 
two  steps with the drill press in the piano, or just one pass?
