Shoe repair folks. Find someone who does shoe repair. There are several sources here in Chicago. A bag of several thousand costs me about $10.00. I don't know if the guy makes anything on it. :-)

Shoe pegs, Schaff. These things disappeared from the face of
the earth for a while after APSCO sold out, as least nearly as
I could tell, and I was wondering what I'd use for a
substitute until they showed up in Schaff's inventory.?
?

I haven't a clue where else they can be gotten.?
