Hi Garret,

I've worked on a church piano for many years that has a backcover on it for
esthetic reasons. I believe the formula/pattern used for it would suit your
needs.
It's a simple wooden frame of 1X3's with small triangular pieces of 1/4"
plywood on the corners for strength/squaring/stabilty. The cloth was then
stretched over it, drawn tight and stapled to it. I then attached it to the
back of the piano with brass screws using ornamental brass washer cups at
the corners. If/when I need to remove it I just unscrew it and it's
completely off and out of my way for whatever I need to do.
A few years ago after some changes took place in the church basement the
humidity began to be more of a problem and we needed to add a second
dehumidifier, with the thickness of the frame for the backcover we were able
to put one across the backposts, down low and it has helped considerably.

Not only will he never be satisfied, but he will never achieve anything
worthwhile.
